Anyone can use Lean Six Sigma, regardless of their age. It is important to learn it with experts so that you can understand how it can be used in your business and personal projects and at the level of a high school student who is trying to broaden their opportunities. In our experience, LSS will help students in high school and their future careers by teaching them new skills that are valued by companies and allowing them to build their confidence and experience in a more practical aspect and approach. All high schools in the state can receive certification and training at Lean Six Sigma Curriculum for District of Columbia High School Students.

Our goal is to provide training and certificates for all high school students who want to learn new skills, add value and have career advantages. This applies regardless of their school grades since we want them to gain some experience and to have a skill that will be crucial to their operations no matter how well they are doing or not.

Schools, boards, and other educational institutions should include a Sigma program to ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn and gain this valuable tool, as well as career advantages over their peers.

It is normal to provide them with tools and more options in order to help them get credit and realize their potential.

Lean 6 Sigma training may not be available to students in the USA, or this is what many thought, as some companies don’t have many employers willing to work with them. Luckily, we are here to help you get the best training possible.

LSS includes practice, knowledge, experience, and all that is necessary to make sure colleges and companies understand your value. For students, we want to make sure they have it, as all of the above will help them plan for the future.

This training is valuable for future professionals, no matter the level or belt they choose.

To ensure students receive the best results possible and that the time they spend learning the method is not wasted, we will share our knowledge and guide them from the very beginning to even later once they finish our training.

Before you make any decision, we encourage you to thoroughly review the courses. As a student, we want you to feel confident in what you learn and do.

What Will You Learn as a High School Student?

Students and institutions must decide whether they wish to pursue a higher-level belt, depending on their availability. For a green belt, a yellow belt is required, after all, and if you don’t have a yellow belt yet, there’s not much to choose from when picking one of the courses or belts available.

Students have only two options: yellow and green belts.

This is because higher levels require collaboration and work experience. Students can learn all they need to work with LSS in larger projects by completing the yellow and green belts alone or at least get the chance for smaller roles that are yet valuable and crucial.

It is important to consider how the student will use the method. Also, whether participation in small-scale projects as a yellow belt is enough, if a student is looking to do large-scale projects or to learn how to apply Sigma in other industries or companies, a green belt will be a great addition.

Here’s a quick overview of belt training:

  • Our goal is to help yellow belts understand their responsibilities and how to handle each task. It’s about helping them improve their work habits and organize the important topics Six Signa covers.
  • All of our efforts will be geared towards the team-based goals for the green belt. Can they—workers and others involved—collaborate? This belt level teaches Sigma basics and allows practitioners to manage large-scale projects with more practice and experience as it aims to inculcate all structures and the usual step to implement this methodology as a practitioner.

High School Students LSS-Certified?

If they have successfully completed our training or course, they should be eligible to receive certification.

What if they don’t have their certificate but were trained by us? To verify eligibility and check knowledge, we offer the opportunity to take the exam.

After completing a course, we have to make it possible for every student to be certified.

LSS certification will show that the course was completed and that the belt was obtained. This paper can be used for job applications and to verify future understanding.

We will ensure that you get your certificate after passing the exam. Our experts will make final comments and offer all the support you need. Contact our Lean Six Sigma Curriculum Pros of the District of Columbia team for more information.
